In Term 4, we were fortunate enough to have the Confucius Institute visit our school as part of our Open Afternoon. The Confucius Institute is attached to the University of Adelaide and works with students within the university asa well as in schools to learn about Chinese culture. Alan and Cathy showed students how to make operatic masks and to experiment with paper cutting.
Please take a look at the finished art work displayed in the library and front office. The team from the Instutitute also stayed to support our Open Afternoon and we were taught how to play Jianzi which is a chinese version of hack sack.
